Course Outline

This training mainly applies to those personnel who are required to enter an H2S classified Zones (Red / Amber / Yellow) which may include ADNOC ONSHORE / contractor staff entering the process facility / drilling rigs / well locations for the purpose of executing the process, engineering support, construction, rig less operations etc.
Employees need to have a level of competence compatible with the tasks they are expected to do.
This gas is highly toxic and fatal even at low concentrations. It is flammable, and therefore is a potential fire hazard. This course aims to ensure learners gain the knowledge and understanding about Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S) hazards & properties and the emergency actions that should be taken. The H2S Training Level 2 course is designed for workforce personnel who are likely to be exposed to H2S. It ensures learners will have a better understanding about hazards and properties of H2S. They will be able to identify and take appropriate safety and emergency actions.

ADNOC employees & contractors, who access Red, Amber or Yellow Zones, or work under ADNOC Permit to Work (PTW), inside or outside the plant.
