Course Objectives

At the end of the course, the attendees will be:

• Aware of the terminology used in gas testing and hazards associated with common gases in oil production operations
• Familiar with testing procedures, operation and limitations of portable gas detection instrumentation
• Able to interpret the results pertaining to hazardous gases, toxic/ flammable, including oxygen deficient or enriched atmospheres
